Way to go Ohio teams. One of you bring home the title this year. Get some respect for Ohio softball for us all.

O-H

Ok, I'll play.......... I - O !!

There are some good Ohio teams at the tournament. Unfortunately, ours bowed out today, defeated by a very good hitting team from New York, the Chatham Rage. Their coaches told me they placed 5th last year in the Eastern Nationals in Virginia. Our girls had a great time and a great experience in our first National Tournament.

If it's the Mt Prospect Power, they are from Chicago IL. We played them as well. A good team, beatable, but they had a few things go their way and we had 4 errors, which killed our chances. They were only the 2nd team to shut us out all season. Score 3 - 0. We just didn't play our game. That and we played at 8:00 am, which is not our most ready-to-play time of the day....

Goodluck Madness, keep us updated!

Best game i saw all weekend ( i was score keeping), Cincy Flames avoid a 9-0 run rule by scoring 5 in the 5th and 5 more in the 7th to beat a awesome Power team in the winners bracket.

Thanks Hitter, we had a blast and the girls never gave up. They have been tested but by watching these girls play you can see they never get down and will keep playing hard. Very proud of them and hope to bring home a championship to OHIO-Indiana-Kentucky area tommorrow.

Goodluck Flames! We spoke at the draw, and I could tell you had a passion for the game. Sounds like it is reflected in your players. Let us know how you do!!!

Thanks. The girls played very well this weekend and never gave up.
8-0 for the tourney. Due to injuries, we were playing with 9 players for the tourney. These 9 girls played their hearts out. With help from their support system including 1 injured player and some younger brothers/sisters in the dugout, they stayed up and kept working hard even when it looked like the game was over. Congratulations Ladies! Great Job, very proud of you.

Games Played listed below:

Pool Play
Wyoming Lady Vipers (PA) won 7-6 (ITB)
Miss Scotties (NY) won 7-4

Bracket Play
Parma Wildcats (OH) won 10-0
Chatham Rage (NY) won 8-0
Amhearst Lightning (NY) won 7-5
Wyoming Lady Vipers (PA) won 5-4
Mt Pleasant Prospect (IL) won 10-9
Mt Pleasant Prospect (IL) won 8-5

The first Mt Pleasant game the girls started out a little rough and gave up 9 runs in 4 innings. Top of 5th, down 9-0 scored 5 to stay in the game and then in top of 7th scored 5 more for an awesome come from behind victory.
