Per Warren Jones ASA is still 40' for 14U and it wil not be discussed until November. Looking for feedback on this - most of the posts have been requesting 43', many of the PMs are asking for it to remain at 40'. Junior high will remain at 40' next spring, HS moves to 43' but none of these girls have yet pitched school ball from 43'

The tournament will be closing entries in a little less than a week - September 22. We need to have those forms coming in soon!!!

Be nice to get four 10U teams and few more 12s in the field along with an even eight for the 14U division

You should check the rules carefully. I believe ASA Qualifiers have to go by the current ASA rules which state the distance is 40'. I don't think you are 'allowed' to make it 43' based on the current rules.

To clarify, we are fine with it either way, I'm just sayin.

Per current ASA rules we will use the 40 foot pitching distance for 12U and 14U and 35 foot for the 10U division.

Registration closes this Wednesday (Sept 22). If your team is interested in joining in on the fun, please get your forms in by Wednesday or let us know of your intentions by Wednesday.

There was some interest in a "B" division in the 14U - if there are teams interested in getting into a division of that nature please let us know by Wednesday.

Woudl be nice to get one more team in each age group to round out the field.

Have Eleven 14U teams - like to go with twelve
HAve five 12U teams - like to with six
Have three 10U teams - would be nice to have four.

Tournaments on either side of this one have cancelled - maybe those teams are looking for a place to go?? Will take one each through early Friday. Send me a note - classicpride@hughes.net
