Looks very bad for Saturday - any chance we could squeeze it all in on Sunday?

Fields are in good shape right now so lets just hope the forecasted rains misses us!

If not, we have a scenario in which we can get the whole tournament in on Sunday. We will reduce pool play to two games and reduce game times to 65-70 minutes. If we have to do that, we will have to move the 18U division out of the complex or cancel it - still working on that portion of it. The 10U, 12U and 14U are qualifiers so we will make every effort to get those divisions in on Sunday.

If we can start play by early afternoon on Saturday, we will play it as scheduled with 60 minute games.

Please note - there is a huge 65-70 team cross country meet at Pickerington Central this weekend. Parking will be at a premium - please car pool if at all possible. Expect large backups and long walks. The rain may take care of this issue for us! Sunday should be fine for parking.

The Classic organization regrets the need to announce the postponement of our fall tournament due to wet fields. We tried as hard as we could to get those fields up and running. We investigated several other facilities however every facility that was visited this afternoon looked as bad as or worse than the Pickerington Central fields. They are nothing but soup right now. Best we could hope for under ideal conditions tomorrow and no more rain tonight would be around noon – we would be cheating everyone to do this.

We have postponed the tournament until October 24-25. Hopefully our second attempt will meet with better weather, though it is risky. We will refund per the entry form each teams fees that cannot make our October date. If we are able to fill the field again, we will be able to refund the remaining fee for those teams that are not able to come back in late October.

Thanks to all for their understanding and your participation in our tournament.

Best wishes to your teams in the upcoming season.
