THE 2011 18U OHIO ASA STATE TOURNAMENT

Hosted by the Ohio Wolfpack Softball Organization

Date: Friday June 24th ? Sunday June 26th, 2011
All teams must be prepared to play by 9:00am on Friday June 24th, 2011.

Location:
Genshaft Park
2801 Erie Street SE
Massillon, OH 44646

Teams:
Any Ohio 18U ASA Sanctioned team MAY enter.

Format:
(4) Game Minimum ? (2) pool games that will seed you into a double elimination bracket, which will start sometime on Saturday.

Pool Play will be: 1 hour & 30 minute time limits. We will finish the inning.
DOUBLE ELIMINATION WILL BE: 7 inning games until we have a winner.

Schedule requests and changes WILL NOT be able to be accommodated.

Entry Fee:
$400 check made out to THE OHIO WOLFPACK ORGANIZATION
Entries will not be considered without payment in full.

NO WHEELED TOYS OF ANY KIND AT GENSHAFT PARK
NO ANIMALS INSIDE THE PARK OF ANY KIND (Massillon Park Ordinance)

Any word on the number of births yet for the current number of teams, just curious?

On a side note, the tourny the Wolfpack org ran in the Fall was Great. They do an excellent job. Just my 2 cents!!!!!!

The following shows the tournament rules for the 18u ASA State
Tournament. Teams must be prepared to play at 8 AM starting on
Friday, June 24th. All teams except possibly 2 will either play at 8 AM
or 9:40 AM on Friday.

2011 ASA 18-U STATE TOURNAMENT RULES
RAIN LINE: (419) 685-0422 (for ALL Tournament Updates)
COACHE?S PASSES: Three Coach?s Passes/team will be provided at Check-In
ONLY Coaches may use these. Must have in their possession
at ALL times to enter parks.
POOL PLAY:
1 hour and 25 minute time-limit; finish the inning;
If still tied, go to international tie-breaker ? Games cannot end in a tie.
Games are scheduled 1 hour 40 minutes apart ? be prepared to start early
Straight ASA Rules Apply
BRACKET PLAY:
7 Inning games; if tied, go International Tie-Breaker
(Please play at a quick pace, help keep us on time!)
