So besides Amherst obviously, I know it's their first time here, are any of the other new comers to the final four?

Did I hear correctly on the Ohssa radio webcast that the fences were set at 220 ? Are they temp fences ? If so why would they set them so deep ? I'd say Hillsdale in the first game today wouldnt be very happy , they had a player hit one off the fence and the final out with 2 runners on base was caught " 4 feet from the fence"

Fences look deep but not marked. Lakewood just led off 6th inning with back to back triples to take the lead from Hoban. Fences are not the problem if someone loses IMO

Never meant to imply they were . The radio broadcast yesterday said the fences were set at 220 , which , IMO , sucks and is a really bad choice , Why not use the standard 200 ? Sure makes hitting a HR in the state tourney a tough feat for any hitter . I don't understand the reasoning on taking away most of that opportunity for the players in the Final four .

Following along on the OHSAA Play-by-play.

How is this scored a SAC???

Runner on first, 1 out. Batter popped up to 1b, SAC. R1 advanced to second.

This is Amherst Steele batting in the bottom of the 7th. Anyone see that play that might shed some light?

Just a guess......but might have bunted and popped it up. 1b dove for ball and runner tagged up and moved to 2nd. Did not see it though.

Read Keystone went down today to very good Hebron Lakewood team.Considering the D1 recruits on there team a bit of a shocker to them.Maybe karma from Ross beating and run up caught up with them.

That's stupid. They had subs in the 3rd. Lakewood is tough!
