Been getting a lot of phone calls, e-mails, and private IM's. The response is GREAT, thanks for giving the new management team within the Valley Extreme a 2nd chance. I will get with Rick Heverly today sometime and get him to update the team listing. By my count we have the following:

10U-1
12U-7
14U-4
16U-11
18U-2

Several other teams are waiting to see how tryouts go before signing up.

We want to run 10U's call us so we can sign you up at our discounted rate of $250! First three teams get the reduced rate.

Looks like it will be another GREAT year playing at Candlelite Knolls with the Valley Extreme. Don't be left out!

The Valley Extreme gets the teams so you can play a different team every weekend, versus playing the same team in a doubleheader every other week.

Our Fall Ball schedule will go out and be posted on our web site @ www.valleyextreme.com on or about 8/30. If you want to play Fall Ball, and have not made a money commitment, and want to play only one doubleheader per week, and play different teams, and not be surprised at the 11th hour. Give Rick Heverly a call ASAP at 330-647-1285 and lock in your 2010 spot.

You have asked for and the Valley Extreme will once again have for purchase Valley Extreme Fall Ball t-shirts. The t-shirt will have a Fall Ball logo on the front and the 40 teams listed by age group on the back.

The Valley Extreme has also made arrangements with the local "GLOVE DOCTOR" to be on site at Candlelite Knolls to sell and repair gloves, and to answer any glove type related questions.

And finally, the concession stand will have our world famous "walking tacos"!

I know of two 18U teams that I have been talking with and they will commit after tryouts this weekend. They are the Ohio Glaciers & ROC Elite. There is a 3rd that is deciding whether to play just tournaments, fall ball, or both. If they play fall ball I can count this 3rd team in as well. The 18U age group will GO! We currently have ten 16U teams and at least two of those teams want to play up at the 18U level. So at a minmum right know we will have at least six teams.

The Valley Extreme is looking to add a 4th set of double headers at Candlelite Knolls on Fields #1 and #2 as soon as the Musco lighting is operational. Should be playing under the ligthts starting on the 3rd Sunday. This will bring the total team count that can play at Candlelite Knolls to 28. Lights get delivered this week!!!!!
