Informed today that the team was going to scale back next year with limited tournaments next year.
Upsetting because by the end of this year, we will have logged more than 90 games this year since Fall. This team has worked really hard getting to where we are now, but the HC wants to scale down.
1st girl -- Birth year 08 pitcher/middle infielder -- sees pitching coach and slapping coach for over a year -- slaps very well for her age - power and soft etc, can hit away... Pitching wise she is very accurate, very good technique... throws 40 mph and hits spots, has a good change-up, also fields position very well and is smart -- Throws R/Bats L -- saw 48% of innings this year
2nd girl (dd) -- Birth year 09 pitcher/middle infielder, has strong throwing arm -- sees pitching coach, throws 40 mph, changes speeds very well, has A+ change-up.. can be wild at times, high per game strikeouts -- usually hits away, can slap but early stages of development, tough out -- Throws R/Bats L --saw 48% of innings this year

Both Girls have faced the best teams in 10U this year both at the plate and on the mound, even though they have taken their lumps, it has made them a better player.... Looking for a similar type schedule in 2017-2018 year that includes multiple Fall tournaments, a Winter workout schedule w/ possible indoor games, a full Spring/Summer tournament schedule, a weekly practice regimen is wanted also. Not a necessity that these are a combo deal, but would like to be
