Good luck tomorrow to coach Dan and the Hawks 99 Gold team with their first bracket play game @ 3:00 p.m.

The #1 and #2 teams from CA faced off for the Championship. The Firecrackers, #1, had to beat the So Cal Jynx twice to win it all. And they did. Got to have a friendly with the Jynx and the whole team, coaches and parents were a joy to talk with. VERY sound team with no holes in it. Had pitching, defense, speed and some power. Was fun to see how other states play the game. The teams we faced from GA can flat out hit the ball. Didn't matter where it was pitched, they hit it and hit it HARD!

The Ohio Hawks 99 Gold finished 25th in the Nationals. Not bad for a first year 100U team. Congrats Hawks on an outstanding season!!!
