These are the teams with the flame throwers from Ohio as well correct? Competition must be tough there, how many teams were there?

The Wizards had an amazing time down here in Johnson City for ASA Nationals. It is incredible the level of play on display down here.

We went 2-3 on the week including winning our first bracket play game. Unfortunately we ran in to the Tennessee Mojo and California Breeze next.

We beat Tennessee Heat and Atlanta Vipers.
We lost to Georgia Impact, Tennessee Mojo, and California Breeze.

Mojo '03 is a three time national champion who is expected to be in this to the end. We had them on the ropes but could not land the knock out punch losing 3-1.

It has been especially awesome to watch the three Ohio team support and encourage each other . We are on our way now to cheer on the SunDogs.

The SunDogs were knocked out today by the Tennessee Mojo 3 - 2, and then 8-2 by the Texas Impact Gold. Still a top 10 finish I believe (T-9th). Great job!

Right over here!
Tenn Mojo Beat batbusters in a close national championship game. Sundogs lost to both of these teams by one run in bracket play to MOJO 3-2 and pool to bat busters 1-0. Unbelievable to see the Sundogs make that run and come play competitive with the best teams in the country. Very special group of players and coaches...

Thank you all for the support this week. Especially the Wizards Coaches, players and parents. They really helped bring some energy to our dugout. The Wizards and the Lasers both played some darn good softball and represented our state well. Watched them play in some pretty exciting games.
We are extremely proud of the effort our girls put out and like "wow" said played the best teams in the country pretty tough. We had bases loaded in the bottom of the last inning against Mojo in the 3-2 loss and were tied 0-0 with Bat Busters until the final inning. We were pretty flat against Impact Gold. They jumped on us in the 1st and we couldn't seem to recover. It is pretty cool that our losses were to the 1-2-3 teams.
The experience was like none other and the level of play incredible. We were witness to some amazing plays made by some amazing athletes. It not only gave us a benchmark but a level of confidence the we here in Ohio can compete with anyone. Good luck to all at try-outs and set you goals high!

The Worth Cobras were staying at our hotel and were very friendly all week. For some reason they were not as friendly after the SunDogs game. The best part was the OH - IO cheer at the end.

Great job all Ohio teams.

Nice job Dogs! You guys played tough all year long. When you get to the top of the heap your facing off against teams that are going to beat you as much as you would beat them. Looks like your number just didn't come up in some games that could have gone either way. Outstanding job representing Ohio at the 10u level. Congrats on a great season!

I also want to thank everyone for the kind words and the support they offered throughout the week. It was truly inspirational to watch the Wizards Elite girls cheering with our girls from the side of the dugout during the games, being just as loud if not louder then our girls. It was a great show of sportsmanship from our Ohio teammates. We were right there till the end in all the games but one, and I think that Mojo loss really took the wind out of our sails. That said we went there and played inning for inning with what turned out to be the best two teams in the country in two games that could have went either way. You cannot ask for more then that without actually winning the games, it was a really great ride!
