Hijacking this thread;; Sorry but wanted to get the information out due to a short notice.
Kerry has ran this in the past; however, this year he has too many commitments so I will be running the friendly this year for the 10U age group. We will have 10u friendlies for teams to gain experience prior to playing in tournaments this summer. It is a tournament atmosphere at minimal cost. There is no trophies, no championship, and we don't collect the scores. Play to compete but less pressure to allow you to mix up your lineup, defensive positioning, etc. Depending on the # of teams, first games will start at 9am, last games start at 4:30pm. There are no pools, I will do my best to make a schedule that is fitting for your teams skill level. With the amount of teams it gets pretty complicated, so please if you have expressed interest and cannot make it, please let us know ASAP!
16 teams per day max
Format:
3 games per day
$100 for single day or $175 for both days of the weekend. You have the option to play Saturday only, Sunday only or both days (your choice)
1 umpire per game
1 new ball provided per game
Full refund if cancelled due to weather. I will also make a call the day before if weather becomes a problem and we need to cancel.
Rules:
- No new inning after 1:15
- ASA rules
- bat roster (if you choose)
- free defensive substitutions
- runner for pitcher and catcher (last out or sub)
-Other modifications are permitted if agreed upon by both coaches and umpire (run limit per inning, situational play, etc)
-There is no protest policy, we will do our best to get the call right on the field It is a friendly!
