We our very honored to be mentioned with these great teams. The girls have worked so hard. We started from scratch with one girl with travel ball experience and just tried to work hard and play good teams.

I'm just not sure we are ready to be mentioned with these teams yet. I guess time will tell.

I have got some feedback from some coaches stating they are waiting to vote until the played a couple of tournaments. I am sure the # of voters will increase this upcoming week.

If there is gonna be a poll this early, then there should be voters this early.....
Most are probably going by hearsay & such anyway.....But IMO if gonna have a poll, then all should vote....Or save poll till you have a min. #

10U Outlaws won the Springfield Streaks tournament with wins over ROC Elite, Poland Pride and Springfield Streak.

ohio wave 01 gave stingrays a good run in semifinal game today at beavercreek, tied 4-4 going in to last inning, stingrays pulled thru with 7-4 win after a couple walks and error, great job today lady wave!

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah we had it at 4-4 with 15 minutes left. Had a tough inning for them to go up 7-4. Tony and his staff are a class act. We opened pool play against them and lost 5-0. That was our first tourney game as a team. We haven't played in anything since we formed last fall (too many basketball players LOL), so we were pleased with the girls for the first time out. Then to come back and play them that well the last game was something the girls should be proud of. By the end of the year we ought to be all right. Terry Folino had another nice tourney. Four of the final six teams are on the OFC poll (Stingrays,Hawks, Doom, and Liberty Blazers). How did the final with them and the Hawks finish?

I'm all for great softbll & sounds like there was some great 10U play in Beavercreek yeterday.....
I'm not worried a bit about the poll, but many seem to be - So with dozens of teams, they need to either push to get more invovled in the process or skip it & no one will have to worry about it.....

Obviously those 7-10 that are voting care, so they should either get the others involved or save the tooting is my only opinion.......And this goes for all age groups, just not 10's!!! It was just most obvious here & 14, 16, & 18 havn't even started.......
