The 10U Ohio Wolfpack had a Very Good 1st year and we are now looking forward to next season as we plan to be a 2nd year 10U team. Our current record, heading into the GAPSS Tournament is 29-25-2 (Some Indoor Games, but mostly Summer Tournament, & a few Organized Friendlies). Currently we have played in 4 Championship games in our 10U Summer Tournaments, winning 3 and runners up in 1. Our team qualified for a PGF Regional Tournament and a USA ASA Eastern Nationals. We are always striving for excellance and are always pushing to develop the basic skills and to always represent The Wolfpack Organization, our Parents, our Community, and our Sponsors while playing the game.
Ohio Wolfpack is based out of Massillon, Ohio and will be the location for Fall, Indoor Winter, Spring, and Summer Practices. We will practice at least 1 time each week on Sundays for 2-3 hrs during the Fall and Winter and I will adjust the spring & summer practice schedule based on our tournament schedule. Most likely we will practice on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.
We will be playing in 2-3 Fall Tournaments, 1-3 Winter Tournaments, and 10 Spring & Summer Tournaments in 2017/2018. We will be playing a highly competitive schedule in Ohio and our ultimate goal will be to qualify for the 10U USA ASA NATIONALS, 10U ASA Eastern Nationals and/or the 10U USSSA Nationals.
This years team will be looking for athletic, versatile, hardworking, dedicated, and fundamentally sound young ladies that are interested in challenging themselves to compete at the highest level of 10U. We as a coaching staff, will work as hard as we can to help our athletes grow on and off the field. The Ohio Wolfpack Organization prides itself on teaching the fundamentals of softball and having a FUN family environment. This years goal, as always, is to provide a group of talented student/athletes an opportunity to play softball at a high level, against the strongest competition, while teaching basic softball fundamentals and skills that will help them as they move up and in life.
Player & Parent Expectations:
- You MUST work on softball skills outside of our team organized practices.
- An Athletes ultimate success will be a result of individual hard work and dedication.
- Hitting lessons, Pitching Lessons and Catching Lessons are a MUST - Individual Lessons, Agility Lessons, etc.
- Understand that we all have the same goal in mind
- Increase your overall knowledge of the games and your softball I.Q.
- Understand the word "TEAM?, what it means, and what it stands for.
- Be a GREAT all-around athlete. We do encourage playing other sports, but April - July is softball season and we don't expect our players to miss practices, scrimmages or tournaments, because of vacations or other sports.
- We will try to work around schedules, but ALL players need to attend organized team practices on a regular basis.
- "For the Love of the game" a Great Movie, you should watch it sometime and find YOUR Love of the Game!
Coach & Organization Expectations:
- Play a highly competitive ASA schedule.
- Develop and expand softball fundamentals and knowledge of the game.
- Push players to reach their potential.
- Coordinate and assist Player Development - specialized coaches, camps, clinics, etc.

Wizards Tournament: 3-4
Black Widows Tournament: 5-2, Tournament Runners Up
Stingrays Showcase: 2-2-1, Tied for 5th place
GAPPS: 2 - 2
The Ohio Wolfpack 10U team will be reloading for the 2017-2018 Season.
We will be looking for ALL positions.
We want ATHLETES with good attitudes, great athletic, and are excited to learn and play softball at a higher level.
The 10U Wolfpack - Wolff Team will be having tryouts on the following dates:
Saturday July 22nd - 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sunday July 23rd - 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
WEDNESDAY July 26th- 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Saturday July 29th - 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday July 30th - 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
ALL Tryouts will be held at Massillon Washington High School Varsity Softball Field, Eagles #190 Sports Complex. The closest address is 1974 Harsh Ave. S.E. Massillon, OH 44646. The Field actually sits on 20th St. S.E. between Harsh Ave. and Oak Ave. S.E.
Please park in the lot past center-field and enter the field near the flag pole. Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to fill out paperwork at the tent in center-field...
