11u tournies?

Looking for some 11u qualifiers in Ohio for this year. We have a team comprised of 11 and 10 year olds that will be playing mostly 12u but we'd like to go to 11u nationals wich I beleive is at expressway park in Cinci.

It is the Tournaments page for this forum. ?Look in the affiliation column for USSSA. ?I think I counted 7 12U/11U tournaments for Ohio listed. The contacts for the tournaments are listed their also.?

I appreciate the info. I am hoping they'll do something in the Columbus area because thats where were from. Looks like all these tournies are in Milford, probably expressway park.

I don't think you will find an 11u tournament in the Columbus area. Everything is 12u. We host 2 tournaments in Gahanna. E-mail me for info. ba43230@yahoo.com

SW Ohio is the hot spot for USSSA in Ohio. ?

As far as I know, USSSA is the only affiliation that has a berth broke down for each age (10U, 11U, 12U, 13U). Even in USSSA, an 11U team usually ends up playing against 12U teams in the tournaments because there just aren't enough pure 11U teams to fill a division at a tournament, ?even though you can still earn an 11U berth.

The only USSSA tournament in Central Ohio last year was the Phoenix Summer Slam in Lancaster. They only did 18U, 16U, and 14U. ?Rich Hogle was the contact for this. ?You can get the info from the tournaments page, just scroll down to the 2005 tournaments. ?It was held on 1-3 July, 2005. ?Hurry though, because the 2005 list will be taken down at the 1st of the new year.

There are still some good tournaments here in Central Ohio for your team. ?Though, none will earn you a berth to a USSSA World Series.

BulletDad we will be offering an 11U age group in our USSSA State tournament on July 15th and 16th in Greenville Ohio.

In addition our other tournaments that are also USSSA sancationed also offer qualifications for the 11U, and 13U age groups. That is not to say that we will have enough teams in each of those age groups to have a seperate bracket but if the teams announce to us before the tournament that they are an 11U team but they are playing in the 12U age group they can still earn a berth in the 11U age group if they are the highest finishing team in that age group.
