12U Lady Twisters Hosting Tryouts - August 17th and August 20th

The Lady Twisters will add a 12U team for the 2014 season with a core of 3-5 girls coming off the Xtreme 01 team from 2013.

Tryouts will be held Saturday August 17th and Tuesday August 20th at Hocking Park in Lancaster, OH (corner of Beacon and Pratt).

Saturday August 17th tryouts will be from 10:00am to 12:30pm (last 30 minutes for pitchers and catchers)

Tuesday August 20th tryouts will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Coaches will be Jeff Ebbrecht (614-519-0421/jrebbrec@us.ibm.com) and Jeremy Hall (740-407-4274)

The team is looking for players with a desire to improve their overall skills and a group that wants to build on the previous success of the 16U Twisters team around central Ohio. We are looking to play 6-8 tournaments in 2014 and most of those tournaments will be local to the Central Ohio area with maybe one tournament being an out of town (hotel stay).

As an organization, we attempt to keep our cost low and we are targeting a budget of $500 per player to cover the cost of all team related activities and uniforms.

I have had a couple parents contact me since there are a few teams struggling to find players and looking for options. I am going to hold a supplemental tryout on Tuesday, August 27th starting at 6pm at Hocking Park in Lancaster for those interested.
