This tournament was not on our original schedule.
Our kids are itching to play games outdoors and this looks like a GREAT chance to go play games and see what you've got.
After kids have been practicing hard indoors for nearly five months, they deserve a chance to do what they love to do best -- PLAY!!
Thanks to Gateway for persevering to put this early early bird on!! I think we can dance between the Tstorms Sunday.

Bill, your right, after five months and a few indoor tourneys later it will be nice to be outdoors for a change. We haven't even been on an outdoor field yet this year, that is why I want to play in this little tourney. Might even surprise the girls, could be fun and it could be ugly, never know until you play. See you there.

I agree. We have played about 10 or 12 indoor games over the winter time and we just want to get outside where we all belong. People like Choosyone cause undo animosity between players of other teams when they make comments without thinking first. This tournament is just for fun and nothing else. It is not the world series or anything of the sort. I myself want to play the best teams that we can so we can learn from them. Players can learn a lot just by watching other players on the field. I know for a fact that our teams will take a butt whipping here and there over the summer but that is just part of the game and in no way takes away from the fun of the game. I enjoy talking to the other teams players before, during, and after our games even if they hand us our butt. We play this game for the fun of it and nothing else and when you take a loss so very hard that it makes you very upset then it is time to quit coaching or playing.
Can't wait to see all the players at Gateway tomorrow. I know our players are looking forward to meeting all the other players.

Your comment about our team (Sudden Death) was totally uncalled for. It is not a secrect that we are a first year team but that does not give you the right to judge how these young ladies will play. As Valley Storm said we too don't mind getting our butts kicked, its part of the game. If you go out and win every game you will never improve. I am a coach, I teach my girls how to play. If we won every game then there would be nothing left for me to teach them. My girls worked thier butts off to get where they are at and they don't need someone making comments degrading them.

It's people like you why we formed our own team to start with. To get away from all the stupid crapp and to let these girls learn the game that they all love to play. WIN or LOSE!!!!!

Looks like the weather will be good to us after all. The Weather Channel has the weather for Sunday as.....Possible morning showers or t-storms then partly sunny all day with a chance of pop-up showers. Nothing we can't dance between though. Even if the start time is pushed back a little it will still turn out to be a great day I think. ? Cross your fingers.
