Attitude/Effort, Skills, Speed
Most start off with the registration and then throwing warmups... The Running will be break out of the box from home to first and so on with bases along with Home to home. Have your daughter work on sprints.
Throwing while fielding, the coaches watch carefully to see if there is strength and what the skill levels are at.
Have your daughter go to the batting cages or soft toss hitting into a net- or both several times before going to a tryout so she will have a good swing for a hitting station at the tryouts. Tryouts can be fun if the player has the right attitude.
Each team and coach has something they are searching for and their tryout formats will bring out that skill search. So all formats are not standard...... Do not judge a team by the tryout process, many will do that. Talent and a Good Attitude will be what she needs to have to do well.
