The Pride Lady Diamonds 12u team is looking for two players to round off our roster for the 2016-2017 season. We are searching for a corner player, outfielder, or a catcher. We look for athletic, hard working players, with good attitudes and work ethic. Players that are working towards a future in the next level of softball. Our rough schedule will consist of 1 fall tournament and 8 or more summer tournaments with possible winter play as well. Two of our summer tournaments will be hotel stays in either Cranberry PA, Columbus, or Toledo OH.
All of our teams are coached by either current or past collegiate softball players. Your daughter(s) will be getting instruction by players that understand the game of softball at the next level and understand the recruitment process for college.
All Lady Diamond players have FULL access to our indoor training facility, StrikeForce. StrikeForce is equipped with five cages, a turf area for infield, and a workout station. We also have several different private instructors available that work out of StrikeForce if your daughter is looking for an individual coach.
Players will also be involved in our Player Development program. The program is a nine week, three days a week workout that works on players speed, agility, and footwork skills. It also consists of breaking down the fundamental softball skills in defense, offense, and the mental aspects of the sport. There will also be one day that will have time committed to pitching and catching with coaches that were/are pitchers and catchers of the game.
The organization is also planning clinics to host Howard Kabota. Howard is a close friend of ours who is a defense instructor out of Hawaii. He has taught players that have went on to play college at all levels and for the USA team, such as Natashia Watley for example. Lady Diamonds players will have first priority in the opening spots for the clinics, before it is open to the public.
