I just have to post that Coop did come through on his requirement to get the first round after our game this week. Come to think of it, I think we all stuck around long enough to fullfull " a round on me" it was a good time and we are looking forward to doing it again in a couple weeks.

Good thing Football season has finished up. You are so on that 8 am, Now we move to 9 am's but the winter chill is the worry now. Everyone will be wanting to play Hot box. I just hope we do not have to start wakeup calls for the teams. I had one player miss last Saturday..oh boy not a good sign.

Basketball has thrown us a curveball, some adjustments are needed in the lineup so we are trying to do damage control before the games start up after the holiday break. 1st it was volleyball now basketball. I do give credit to All the ladies that have stayed in there for the Winter fastpitch league.

Last Week of Games

See you guys there! I thought that the last weekend I was there was the last week for me, but it turns out I'll be working the games this Saturday.

This will be a busy weekend for me, softball-wise. Friday, I'm at the new Grand Slam in Dublin for their hitting leagues. Saturday, back to All-Stars for the final weekend. Then, Sunday, a full slate of games for the new indoor league at Field Sports Ohio.

Not bad when you can fill a weekend with softball during the dead of winter!

We have the 9 am game with Westland. Its been a fun Winter Cold but Fun!!! We met some great people joining us in some friendly games. Its all been good even with some players not able to make it due to the weather. This league and teams has been well worth the time & good fun. Hopefully the ladies were able to get the extra play time to work on skills. If I do not get to see everyone Saturday please have a great 2009 season and keep those smiles coming!!

I would have to say that this has been a great time. The facilities here are better than a lot of other inddor leagues and I hope this place grows in popularity for fastpitch. It truly is a great indoor place. Not to mention it has it's own sports bar!!

And a big thanks to Pcaba and Coop for inviting me and a couple of my players to play with a great bunch of girls...We had a great time and built some friendships along the way..

I was thinking of coming up Saturday to watch some games, but bretman would most likely eject me form the facility, especially when I yell "OOOHHH...that pitch sounded like a strike"...lol. Anyway, hope everyone has had a great winter league and look forward to seeing everone somewhere on the 2009 softball trail!!!
