Hmmm...considering most of these teams just got their high school players back and haven't been in many tournaments yet, how can you tell?

good point 2 cents; Several of these teams in this week-ends Expressway tourny. I can't wait to see who wins the 14-under division. I know one team has three players involved in high school ball and not released to their select team yet!!!

Why would you want anyone to try to answer this question? This kind of question was the start of MANY ugly posts last season which gave ball in Cincy a bad name. I say good luck to all the teams in Cincy this summer and the better teams will show it on the field. I would also like for all the coaches, parents, and players to pledge to exhibit good sportsmanship this year both at the ball diamonds and on these forums. This will make this season much more enjoyable for all!

Who is to say which is the better team? ?They are all good teams if you ask me. ?Not to mention, there are other teams like the one my daughter is on that will be playing in the tournament this weekend and we aren't on your list. ?Who's to say that we won't win? ;D ;D ?

How many of these teams will leave the 275 loop this summer? How can you ask who is the best team? Who will they play? If they only play against each other, does it really matter who is the best? When the local teams step up to start playing nationally, then this topic is viable, otherwise, who cares????????

OK,,, found this nugget today,and although it's old, having a 14u player now, I thought I would RESTART This discussion on who is the BEST 14u CINCI based team these days and why. I saw several Cinci Teams playing fall ball recently, so those teams should at leat have a good idea how things are stacking up.

Also saw some NEW COMERS that are really going to suprise some teams too.

Those who haven't played yet, probably have enough pride to tell us why they are going to be TOPS in 2009.

BTW,,,, Sounds like the old thread was in poor taste, several years ago. Hopefully all that is behind Cinci Fast Pitch fans.

So let me clarify, my intent here is to get some talk going on what our Cincy based Teams, Coaches, and players are doing well, as an opportunity for all of us to compliment what we see others doing to pay respects or for a Team and local players to tell others how or why they've grown and intend to be competitive on Sunday's against State and / or National Teams.

I will start by saying, there is a NEW Team jumping out of REC, CINCY FURY, that has shown they absolutely belong in Select Travel by winning the 14u Fall Ball 1 day tourny at NKU this fall against some other established and reputable programs. This is a team I look forward to watch and see how they continue to grow, as it looks like they have a legitimate chance to become a top Tier team with a full year of Select under their belt.

There is a huge difference between beating "established and reputable programs) and beating strong winning teams. Lets wait until the actual summer season gets here and then we will see how teams fair vs. competition at gthe top tournaments.

yes summer will be the real test but of course cincy doom has to be at the top here in the cincy area, i dont know if they have 2 teams in this age bracket for this next year but they have a young 14's that are a top notch team. I also think the cincy static have a couple of good 14's that will compete late on Sunday's next season!!!

unbiased of course, DOOM will aim to please and John T's 14u with Dennis will be competitive. I too think the summer will tell the story and the posts will be updated on Sunday evenings. John has an awesome schedule with no weekend going to be easy.

I'll leave it to John to post... but some of them games include:
GAPPS, Stingrays, Oklahoma City Regional, Sluggerfest, Heatin N Up to name a few. In my opinion, pretty solid for this area.

OK, ok, with the Summer will tell stuff.. Didn't start this thread for coaches, players, or fans to talk about who will beat who, but Who is doing what to get better, and who has gotten better, and why is anyone will to say that.... Lester, love the post about John T.. and his schedule..... THAT IS THE KIND OF STUFF THAT CINCI TEAMS NEED TO DO TO COMPETE AT STATE and NATIONAL Circuits.. Glad to hear some of our teams are AIMING HIGHER ,,, and also as you stated DOOM is always aiming to please. Having been Static last year, I know how successful this NEWER program has been and also how they also were AIMING HIGHER. Any news on 12u Black , 14 Black, and the NEW 13 teams and what their ambitions are... Also Love to hear about EMR, and if they intend to play A or B ball this year. I would LOVE to see them in ASA "A" Tourney's as they have the ability, and I loved the competition against them last year....

That is the kind of stuff, I would LOVE TO SEE Cinci FP Players , Coaches, and Fans get excited about and share about on this page... Also, WHO IS WORKING THEIR BUTTS OFF to be THE BEST.....

edamme, I agree with your assessment, and that is why I stated, Cincy Fury is a team I will like to watch develop.. They are not there yet, but show loads of Coaching and Talent potential... Static, Doom, EMR would seem to be Top Tier "Teams" depending on age/team being discussed, with Thunder, Shock, OFC, Bandits and several others being established programs with some solid if not better then solid teams. Does Miami Valley Express & Extreme fall into this Top Tier category(or are they closer to Colombus?), as those two teams have 14 & 16u teams that would seem to be winning on Sunday quite often????

Don't want to slight any teams/orgs, as I know there are many others Bustos, Force, Slammers, .......So please don't take offense if not mentioned.. YET...

Any Teams or Core of teams attend the Bustos/Finch Clinic in fall, or have Howard Kobata(Fielding GURU) out for Fielding Instruction/Drills, or Miami U Kellyn Tate OF/Hitting Clinics??????? Heard those were fantastic clinics for Coaches and Players alike..
