I think the official count is 12 inches here in cleveland, not measured in by back yard. I think its closer to 15 inches. My border collie had to leap through the air like it was some kind of kangaroo. He normally likes the snow, even he thinks this is ridiculous! My Husband works at Hopkins Airport and has been there since 11pm Friday night, won't be off until 3:30 tonight. Said he couldn't even see 5ft in front of the plow at the airport. DD has pitching lessons today, hope I can get the car out. Man I wish I had a gas guzzeling (sp) 4 wheel drive suv about now! ;D

Now that the snow has quit here we have a whole new problem, the river. We were flooded in in 2005 and as it looks right now it could very well happen again. The river is already very high and now the temp is supose to rise, all this snow has got to go somewhere. I am not going to have any vacation time by the time summer comes :-/

Yeah I hear ya! LOL. Two things you wont see work on Sundays..........the Amish and the Chick-Filet restraunt. I would say my wife also but that would mean every day is Sunday (and she reads this board to from time to time).

Hope they got route 303 cleared up thru there and Richfield so I can get to work tonight!

Crazy~not as bad here in Poland. I think we got about a foot but not 18". Come on somebody else out there has to enjoy the snow a little`although enough is enough! We took the kids and the little dog sledriding. What better way to get dd's legs in shape for running bases and catching than to climb back up the hill all day long! Although I will give a word of advice.....a really fast sled, a snow ramp and a 34 y.o. man is destined for disaster. My dh took a running start from the top of the hill, jumped the ramp and did a face plant well I guess a head plant in the snow so bad that he cleared the snow down to the grass in a 1 foot long strip from where his head broke his landing. Since he is ok(just a little scraped and bloody) I can say it was the funniest thing I have seen in a LONG LONG time. We laughed so hard and for some odd reason I had the video camera on and got the whole thing....definitely a classic to show the future grandkids...

My mastiff usually loves the snow but since it is coupled with a layer of ice he is not thrilled. He is still playing with it but won't leave the shoveled areas to do his "duties"....the little one (corgi/shih tzu mix/mutt) loved evry bit of it. She even went down the hill on the sleds a few times although she did feel the need to "protect" everyone from the big bad sleds.....haha.

I feel sorry for everyone that got the big accumulations, but like they say---better you than us! ?;) ;D

We all stooped down, here in Toledo, and it just blew right over our heads across the lake to Cleveland. ?:D

Put it on youtube, and post the link here for us. We could all use the laugh.

No more ramps for me when I go sledding after I also did a face plant last year. The kids made it look so easy, but I was sitting upright on a saucer and it slowly tipped sideways while I was airborn like it was all in slow motion. Until my face hit ice and then it was live action fighting the tears. My husband said I shouldn't have let go, but I wanted to try to break my fall.

Could your balance problem possibly have anything to do with you being a Steeler's Fan. Aren't they all a little bit off?? ;D

I am trying to find out what I need to do to transfer it (my camera is a Hi8) (I know I need to upgrade but everytime I think I can Mo needs something new for SB or Mack needs dance costumes or tuition....I will hopefully get it figured out by tomorrow. I have a cousin in WY dying to see it. (If anyone can help let me know-I know I have to go buy something to convert it..)

I did the ramp once on my stomach and didn't do to badly landed on my chest without the sled it kept going without me....but no injuries. Just a little scratch on my chin from when I went down with my 6 yo laying on my back. Same thing sled stopped I kept going....It is easy to say don't let go of the sled but when you are flying through the air the sled is the last thing in your head.
