The 16U Michigan Lookouts are happy to present the 2011 Summer College Exposure Showcase. June 18 & 19 at the beautiful Powers Park in Novi, Michigan.
Here are the details-
-It is a true college showcase that provides each team 3, 90 minute games both Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19. (6 games total, weather permitting) College coaches prefer this format because it allows them to see EVERY team at least 6 times over 2 days.
-Held at Powers Park, Novi, MI (6 top notch softball fields)
-Although a non-sanctioned event, we will follow ASA rules and teams have the option of free substitution and batting everyone in the line-up.
-Cost is $500 for the weekend
-Two divisions of 16 - 16U teams and 8 - 18U teams. Saturday you play 3 games in a 4 - team pool and how well you do determines which pool you play in Sunday.
-We have been encouraged by college coaches to offer this event and have no doubt that the majority of the colleges that attended our fall showcase, and any others attending Compuware Classic, will make the effort to drive 15 minutes North to Novi to attend our event.
-Deadline to register is January 24th. Each team will get an answer on their registration by January 31st. NO EXCEPTIONS. Email michiganlookouts@hotmail.com to get the registration materials.
