The Grind 16U and 18U Division College Showcase and Camp at Historic Firestone Stadium
*8 teams each division, 7-Game Guarantee, winner take all!
*June 28-30, 2024
COST: $995 (payable when accepted into the tournament)
DETAILS: The Grind Tournament will be at the newly turfed and upgraded Firestone Stadium Main Field, Pony Field, and limited play at nearby Crystal Park. The 16U and 18U divisions will each consist of 8 teams who will play each other for the 7-game guarantee. The team with the best record or wins the tie-breaker is crowned champion of their division. Each game will be 80 minutes finish the inning, weather permitting.
HOW TO REGISTER:
Coaches may register on Tourney Machine: “The Grind @ Firestone” or via email to: thegrindakron@yahoo.com.
All registrations are due by 12/25/2023 and teams will be notified by 1/1/2024 if they are accepted into the showcase.
*Note: Price could vary slightly based on Rental Cost changes made by the City of Akron for 2024.

**COLLEGE SHOWCASE CAMP**
In addition to the tournament, Softball at the Point ran by legendary coach Julie Jones will be run a college showcase camp on Thursday, June 27 at Firestone Stadium. Coach Jones is well-known for running great college camps that draw numerous college coaches to run the camps and interact constantly with the players. Coach Jones has already received numerous college coach commitments to participate in The Grind Showcase Camp.
