Hi I just moved here from Arkansas and I'm looking for some opinions on who some the best teams / coaches are in the 16u age group in Central Ohio. My daughter has an 01 birthdate and I want to put her in a good spot. Also who are some coaches to stay away from? Thanks on your help

might want to include what level of team you are looking for , Ohio has it all. If you want a team that plays pretty much nothing but other top talent ( mix of D1-NAIA players) there are a probably more than a dozen . Include what your goals are and people will prob help ya out .

Steve ... welcome to Ohio! As Dan says, Ohio has it all, so let us know what level you're looking for and I, for one, will try to at least PM you. I don't think anyone is going to post here coaches to stay away from, but you may get a PM or two on that as well. Your post will also probably attract some interest from coaches looking for players and you may have noticed some sections in the Forum that are specifically for players looking for teams, and teams looking for players. I honestly would dig for this information on this website. The info here is immense, some of it legit, some of it total BS. At this point in the game, you will have to go to the "teams needing players" section and slog through the want ads and do your own research, and only you can decide if the distance or cost is worth it. If you and your DD are really serious about softball and you are based in central Ohio, I would consider the entire state up for grabs, since it is not unheard of for players travelling 2-3 hours for practice and tournaments, sometimes even further.

Right off the top of my head in no order .. Doom , Buckeye Heat , Outlaws, Lasers , Miami Valley Express, Cincy Static , Hawks , Classics, Ohio Ice , Heart of Ohio , Stingrays , wizards , Wolfpack .. there is 13 quick ones that send 50% or more of their players to college.

Good top of your head list...
If the lady and Family are looking for teams that play top tier events from central Ohio teams a lot of these teams may be full...Be willing to look at some very good Indy teams like the Dreams, Magic, Gators and a couple good KY teams like the Stunners and Sluggers... Most of these other teams play as many Ohio events as the top tier Ohio teams do at 16U......

Thank you everyone we were back home for holiday. I will be contacting some of these organizations to see if we can land a home. DD is a right handed hitting outfielder/2b. I was told Lasers Green Stingrays 01 Classics 01 Glory 01 Heat 01 were all looking any advice on these teams? I see Lasers Green was already referred and their resume is outstanding! I appreciate all the help
