16U Midnight Round-Robin Event at the Thunderplex

Looking to play some competitive softball, but can?t because you have too many girls playing basketball on Saturday?s, or would like to get a few games in prior to your girls reporting to their respective High School softball programs.

The 16U Valley Extreme-Blue team is looking for three 16U teams to compete in a MIDNIGHT ?Round-Robin? event at the Thunderplex. ? ? Doors will open at 11:00 p.m. for the teams to warm-up, with the first game starting at MIDNIGHT! ? ? Each game will be 90 minutes followed by a 15 minute break between games. ? No new inning after 85 minutes. ? ? The games will be played on Field #1 and #2, with Field #3 being used for warming up your pitchers. ? ? The final game will conclude at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday. ? The cost of the event is $200 and will include three games, one umpire per field, and balls. ? ? ?The event will use NSA rules (ex. EP and DH).

Midnight to 1:30 a.m. ? Game #1
1:30 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. ? BREAK
1:45 a.m. to 3:15 a.m. ? Game #2
3:15 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. ? BREAK
3:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. ? Game #3

We are looking at either 1/21/07 or 1/28/07, whichever date allows three more teams to participate. ? ? I will take the first three teams that contact me by cell phone at 330-307-9315, or via e-mail at lions223@aol.com.

The Yankee Kitchen Restaurant opens for breakfast daily at 5:00 a.m. and is located just minutes from the Thunderplex. ? ? ? Perkins and Eat-n-Park are within 10 minutes as well.

The Midnight Round Robin needs two more teams to work! ? ? I will keep looking for two more teams until 1/7/07, and then I'll cancel the event if we do not have four teams.

As of right now we have two teams that we are reserving the final two spots for while their managers are polling their kids and parents. Any other teams interested in case one of these teams fall through?
