18U Lasers Yellow/Easton open Practice 09/18

Lasers Yellow will be hosting an open workout this Saturday, 9/18 from 10-1 in Cortland, OH (184 Willow Ave. Cortland, OH 44410). We are in need of a catcher and versatile athlete. Confirm attendance with Coach Nate at (330) 307-6141.

Why does this team and the Platinum team always need 3 to 4 players every Fall? Just a parent watching from afar however there seems to be several red flags with this staff. Something for other parents to consider. Red is always solid, no turnover to speak of. The Yellow team loses players way more than "normal" turn over.

I want to be fair. I could be completely wrong here (other than the player turn over). Could be legit reasons 3 to 5 players leave every year and may have nothing to do with the coaches. Just a head scratch situation to me. Not on the inside so I should not disparage anyone with assumptions. Still makes you think though......lol

Hi "parent watching from afar." Thank you for your curiosity but we are just fine. Like about every other 18u team out there, our girls have a lot of schedule conflicts in Fall so we are looking at potentially expanding our roster if the fit is right. For the record, we lost 2 girls from our summer team. Personally I think that is pretty normal. But I could be wrong. Feel free to give me a call at (330) 307-6141 and we can discuss our team's roster moves. We can even discuss the weather, the Cleveland Browns or golf. I will say though that I will not discuss politics or Covid. I am sick and tired of that.

I will say Lasers Yellow has always competed at a high level and I feel Nate and that Staff has done a great job. Lasers Platinum has always had a decent team and good Staff as well. Chris Lucas does a great job with that group. Both pretty stand up guys with solid teams. For someone from Stingrays 04 to get on here and Highjack the post just shows how big of a hater you are. Stingrays 04 name used to be good but that all changed when Jelli and his team left.

Since then that team has been the laughing stock of the travel scene. I would put money on Nate or Chris’ team against Doug’s Stingrays 04 team 10 out of 10 times and never lose a dime. Same with our Doom 04 team. I would put money on us 10 out of 10 times against that Stingrays 04 team and never lose a dime.
