18U Ohio Hawks Lauer would like to add an additional pitcher and catcher to our TEAM that is currently comprised of very strong group of players. These two positions will complete our roster for the 2013 season.
If you are a pitcher that is currently undecided about what team your going to be playing for or if your that pitcher who is considering taking the 3 or 4 rotation spot, we need to talk. Our team is looking for the pitcher who wants pitching time! Pitchers want to the ball whenever they can get it and as coaches we understand this desire. We are planning on going with a 1-2 rotation that will allow you the pitcher to get the innings I know you are looking for. We do have additional players who do pitch on our roster to give us innings, or even a game, when needed. These additional pitchers will allow for our 1-2 rotation to get rest when needed.
Our team currently has a very solid rostered catcher with an additional player who can fill the back up role. We would like to add the additonal solid catcher to compliment our 1-2 pitcher rotation. The catcher selected for this team will also get an abundance of catching time and field time if she has an alternate position.
This team has several Goals: We want to develop our girls for the next level and also compete at a level that will prepare the girls wanting to pursue College softball. Our expectations are to be in the finals of every tourney we play in and this takes dedication off the field and while at practice.... ATTITUDE AND HARDWORK are key to success. Every player must be there for the TEAM. You win as a TEAM and you lose as a TEAM.
