We are back and at it again for 2022-23 season! Lance and I have been been coaching for the Ohio Hawks organization for 5 seasons and we look to another successful year. This is a Regional, not a National Hawks team --- No crazy travel. We are both non-parent coaches of daughters who played college softball. Each year we add assistant coaches who played or are playing college softball. Beyond our records and tournament wins, our priority and crowning achievement is the number of players we send to college each year. This fall we will have players at the following: Wilmington, Ashland, Davis & Elkins, West Liberty, UNOH, Ohio Christian, Muskingum, Black Hawk, Bluffton, Findlay, Denison, Edison State, Miami Middletown, Thomas More, etc. Our fall and winter schedule will include private team camps and/or scrimmages at OCU, Hocking College, Wilmington, Wittenberg, Ashland, Georgetown, MSJ, Edison State, Rio Grande, to name a few. We also have access to a nice indoor practice facility for winter practices. Like this season Lance and I will be coaching 2 teams; yeah, it can be crazy at times but we love it. Our season this current season includes the following:
Laser 1 Day, Capital City, Lasers Invitational, Dayton Metro, Uncle Charlies (Findlay), Pete Cook Memorial, 12th Annual Pride Tourney, Stingrays, Recruitfest, USSSA Championship in Destin, FL, and 18u Summer Championship.
Based on the plans of having 2 teams, I have approximately 11 open spots.
I currently have an Excel spreadsheet for tracking the candidates for next season. If you would like to be invited to our tryouts please text me at 513.256.3595 or email at tim.adams@fuse.net (please no phone calls) the following information: Name, Grade, Birth year, High School (or college), Current Team, Contact Information. As I schedule tryouts, I will contact you and try to accommodate schedules and expectations. Have a great day!!!
