Had some meh experiences with the last two travel teams we played for so we are sticking with subbing only for Fall. 5/2006 birthday. Played on 16B teams for the last two years. This summer we moved up to mostly only out of state showcases, so its been a tougher summer, but she's still done well! She has gap to gap power, good plate discipline, and is reliable in the field. She can play all outfield positions and can sub in a pinch at 2B or 1B.

Combined stats for 2022-23 fall and summer(still on-going)

.387 AVG (.480 in Fall)
.440 OBP
1.100 OPS
.600 SLG
38 H
2 HR
32 RBI
1.000 FPCT
27 PO

We're not looking for any out of state tourneys, mostly local, maybe Cbus. Please message me here.

Good luck in your search. It is a tough time of year to be looking for a team(s) to join as a sub only. Tryouts are now or shortly, and most will be looking to add full time players to their rosters for fall and next summer, versus a fall sub only type player.

What exactly was the issues with last 2 teams? lack of commo as to schedule? Coaching? Players? results?

I don't want to get into many specifics as her current coach, I believe he uses this forum. But mainly lots and lots of daddy ball to the point where it affects the team and their success. No accountability for those coach kids/long-time teammates.

Also pitching. Both teams claimed to have great pitching and were playing a highly competitive schedule (which we did), but had mediocre pitching at best, which caused lots of run-rule games at distant, and costly tournaments. But if course coach daughter was one of our pitchers so we keep throwing her out there. It's insanity.

And finally coaching bad habits. Telling the team to field balls a certain way, and having the hitters practice hitting ground balls, stuff that goes against everything I've taught my daughter, her school ball coaches have, and her hitting coach has. So many times I'm sitting her down and telling her to ignore half the stuff. My daughter has developed a swing for driving balls, getting on plane, etc. and these coaches are telling her the complete opposite. And these are well known high level teams in the Cincinnati area.

Idk, I don't spend thousands a year for these issues. I'm sure they're are teams that it isn't but we're kinda jaded at this point and need a break. Maybe someone will need subs after tryouts, if not then I think we'll take a break. The stress of all this and more isn't worth it

From my experience you will have no trouble finding sub opportunities this fall for her. Be patient but almost guarantee you will get the chances you are looking for. Good luck.
