The schedule is different than the one we originally received last week, so I'm waiting for confirmation that this is the correct/updated schedule.

Make sure you go to the correct field as they have it spread out, not all at the CYO complex.

The Wizards scored 4 runs in the first inning with no help from the umpires. However the umpires made a few questionalable calls against both teams. Wizards earned that win. If these two teams played best out of 10 I would pick the Rays 8-10. I also heard the Rays are missing 4 girls this weekend.

So Fastpitchfan are you saying that, that Wizards team just won that game out of shear luck? I wonder what other team beat the Stingrays in that tournament that weekend? just asking.

2short... No If you read it again I said the Wizards deserved the win. They out played the Rays. However this Rays team is a very good team that was missing 4 girls this weekend and in my opinion would win 8 out of 10 games maybe 9 with those 4 girls. The Rays played many girls out of position this weekend. Stingrays only loss was to the Wizards. I think they finished 7-1.

The Wizards team played real well. They built a lead and their pitcher K. Bryson pitched great to beat the best hitting team at this tournament. I talked to one 16u coach that told me in their 2 games against the Rays, the Rays would have hit 7 Hr's if their was a fence. In the Championship game IMO they would have hit 2 or3. But the fielders were playing them at about 200ft for all 3 of those games.

Never said anything about luck!!!!

The Stingrays had 1 loss on the weekend. They played A little sluggish to say the least in that one but the Wizzard played a great game and at the end had more on the scoreboard. They won the semi final game against the Minnesota Stars (St. Paul) team and the finals against the SGS Magic white.
The Umpires left a lot to be desired in a few of the games that I watched but that is part of the game.

I guess when there are no fences you would call that free range softball, LOL.

The only complaint would be no fences. At the 12U level the umpires were excellent. No shade was a little rough. The 12U Cumpuware team was awesome. They were the only team we played that we couldn't seem to score on. Excellent battle in pool play for 6 innings. We were hoping to meet up again on Sunday but had a rough am game with errors.
