Why are the 14s pitching at 40'? We have high school pitchers on our team that pitch from 43' and may withdraw from the tournament if the pitching distance is 40'.

If they don't change over the winter, looks like you guys won't be playing any ASA.

With the key part of that statement being "next year". They have not had the meetings yet where that, and other things, will be decided.

Last year all the ASA tournaments we played in we got to choose 43' or 40' for the exception of Nationals.

Must have not been ASA sanctioned qualifiers then. Don't see how they could have pulled that one off for 14u and down.

Sluggerfest at Rivershore was an ASA Qualifier and we were able to choose. We pitched at 43.

Patty must have made up her own guidelines for the Northern Qualifier she ran... After all being the last one she was doing - I dont think she cared if ASA National was upset.

The only other ones I know that choose were Bill Beckham's tournaments. And I believe we found out that they were not qualifiers but ASA sanctioned after we got to the tournaments.
