ASA Tournament 2012 Fire in the SKY 14U and 16U INFO REQUEST

I would make sure you still keep the 14U's the weekend of the fair and fireworks nice touch for the younger ones

As for the dates for the 16u, I would think that June 1st-3rd would be your best bet. Any weekend after that would interfere with all the ASA/USA qualifiers, ASA States and the Lasers and Compuware showcases..

June 29th- July 1st will be the last chance to qualify for USA/ASA for alot of teams along with several big showcase tournaments that weekend..

A lot of teams 16U teams are unhappy with GAPSS so July 13-15 is also a possibility. Would rather come there at this point. Haven't seen any showcases posted for last week of June however.

Its not them... Its family and friends.

June 1st weekend can take out some kids because of high school state championships.

I like the idea of July 13-15 or the June 1-3 dates.

I think putting together a 16U tourney that is anywhere near the caliber of your fantastic 14U tourney would be very hard. At 16U it's more about college showcases and getting to USA/ASA nationals. Most of the dates are already taken by fairly major tourneys.

I would suggest trying to do it with 12U. You could do it June 1 with not as many HS confilcts and you would build interest for the 14U tourney.

BTW - My daughter played in your tourney this summer and it was the BEST tourney I've been at. Loved everything about it. Thanks!

Why not make it a 16U/18U Showcase like some of the others. Great location plenty of fields.
