This must be one heck of a tourney, I've heard quite a bit about it the past few years, I got a few years but for sure got to check this out.

This tournament looks AWESOME!!!!! Can't wait for this one! Looks like a lot of the the top 14u teams are getting in! Its gonna be one hell of a great time!

We are in the same boat Uber. I don't want to give away or skip my 2 years at 12U but I can't wait for this one. I come from near these parts so it will also be somewhat of a homecoming for me as well. I have heard nothing but the highest praise for this tournament.

Just watch out for the Amish Mafia. JK I'm really into that show right now.

I cannot say enough positive things about this tournament!!! The city of Orville does an outstanding job & they show their appreciation to every team in attendance.

For those participating in the event this year it will test your team in a number of ways. First, strong competition throughout & secondly your stamina. Last year my Static '97 team was fortunate enough to win the 14U event but it tested my girls physcially, mentally, & emotionally. Even w/ a #1 seed from pool play, winning 6 games straight on a day in 100 degree weather will test each & every team. However, if your are in the championship game the girls will get their energy from the thousands of people watching & cheering as they gather for the huge fireworks display. The biggest thing we did for the girls was to keep them hydrated & out of the sun/heat as much as possible. We used the air conditioned welcome center building in between games even it was for only 5 minutes. That seemed to help a lot.

We are currently looking for a few teams to fill out our expanded tournament roster. These teams will join a group of 16 that will play Wednesday Night July 3rd, have July 4th off and finish pool play Friday. With the tournament expected to be played Friday night and Saturday. Please email our TD Joe Horn at fireintheskysoftball@gmail.com with any questions and to begin the registration process. We have teams from all over Ohio, MI, PA, WV & KY attending this year. Its our 10th annual tournament and we are going to make sure its the best one yet!

Anyone know if the lineup rules are straight ASA for pool play?

As an ASA national qualifier we are required to go straight ASA rules the entire tourny. Extra batters will not be allowed.
