There will be no Friday games: with the recent economy we realize that over the last couple of years that it has become tough for parents to take vacation on Fridays. We have had many requests from teams in the past to not play on Friday, therefore; no Friday games. However, be prepared for early Saturday and Sunday games (games will start at 7 AM).

Over the years we have hosted some awesome teams and we have always worked hard to provide a great ASA tournament. With this being the weekend that the summer really kicks into high gear we want to make this event one that teams from the Tri-State area want to attend. This a 4 game guarantee with 3 pool play games and then a single elimination tournament after pool play.

The tournament is hosted by OHIO WAVE Fastpitch and run primarily at the Stebbins Field Softball Complex in Greenville. It is one of the finest softball only complexes in the state.

This tournament typically fills quickly and we expect 2013 to be no exception. If you are interested please submit the registration form and confirm your spot ASAP.

Rules
All rules are ASA standard unless otherwise listed below:

1. Game Time limit for pool play will be 1 Hour 15 Minutes (No new inning after 1:15 has passed), for bracket play time limit will be 1 hour and 20 minutes (No new inning after 1:20 has passed)
2. Pool play games can end in a tie.
3. Run rule: 15 runs after 3 , 12 runs after 4, and 8 runs after 5.
4. Protests must be made to the tournament director and his decision will be final. No protests will be allowed after the game has been completed.
5. DP / FLEX rules apply or teams can choose to bat their entire roster and do free defensive substitutions. Teams cannot reduce or increase the number of batters once the game has started.
6. Courtesy Runners for pitcher & catcher: If a team bats 9 (and or uses the DP/FLEX) then standard ASA courtesy runner rules apply. If a team chooses to bat 10 or more but not the entire roster, then the courtesy runner must be a player that is currently not in the game. If a team bats their entire roster then the courtesy runner will be the player who made the last out. This rule will only apply if the entire roster is batted.
7. There will be NO out charged for any injured player who is unable to bat.
8. Maximum 32 teams

Cost $400 per team
4 GG (weather permitting)

10U / 12U / 14U / 16U Age Groups

• Coolers Allowed
• Camping Allowed
• No Parking or Gate Fees
• NO PROTEST FEE. We want to get the calls right so we'll solve the issue immediately at time of incident.
• UIC and TD on site at all times.

Teams must be ASA sanctioned and be able to show proof of accidental & liability insurance at check in.

Tournament format: Pool play then seeding into Single Elimination tournament.
Team and individual awards for 1st and 2nd place.

The new "Stadium"is really going to be something else. I for one can't wait.It will be a real treat for any team to play on a diamond like that!! Good luck Dave I hope the tourny is a huge success.

The new Lady Wave Stadium will seat 333 people.(elevated) New block dugouts,two story press box,Around $250.000 expansion. It's going to be really nice.
