Cuyahoga Heights had another battle with Nikki Doyle and Aurora. Heights gave up a run in the first on a leadoff walk and a pair of singles. Heights answered back with a leadoff walk, sac bunt, and then a double. It stayed 1-1 till the 9th when Heights jumped on a pitch and put it over the fence. Final 2-1 in 9. Chopka struck out 10 and Doyle had 15 k's in the loss. These two teams have combined to play 21 innings in 2 games with a total of 4 runs scored. Glad to see that Heights is winning the tough games.
It looks like Height's bats are starting to come alive as the Coach tweaks the batting order and the right batter is coming up in the right situation.
