Ohio Stingrays 2014 (9u) - Jellison/Justice - Tryouts

I am so excited to announce the I (Mike Jellison) will be back with the Stingrays. 10 years ago, I helped put together a 2004 Stingrays team, and now all of those kids are graduated playing in college. I am looking forward to getting an opportunity to work and develop another group of girls on this amazing softball journey. I am looking for kids that love the game of softball, work hard, are coachable, and just want to play ball.

Ohio Stingrays will be adding a 9u team starting this Fall. The team will be Coached by Mike Jellison and Mike Justice. This team will focus on player development and will provide the highest quality instruction. Both coaches have tons of Coaching Experience, and have developed numerous kids that have gone on to be successful in High School and College. This will be a brand new team, and all positions will be evaluated. The team will be practicing out of Licking County either at Watkins Memorial High School or Johnstown High School.

We will be having an Open Tryout this Sunday the 30th of July at Johnstown High School on their Varsity Softball Field at 12pm (noon). If you are interested in coming please use the form below to register.

I didn't realize that tryouts are already over for most teams. Everything has changed with that since I put a team together 10 years ago. I mean most teams are still finishing their seasons, not sure how they have had tryouts for the following year. Hopefully we find some kids, and we can have the same success we had the last time.

Just a reminder. Anyone looking for a great opportunity for a 2014 (9u), Mike and I will be at Johnstown High School Varsity Field at 12pm tomorrow. I know many have requested private tryouts due to many playing their last tourney this weekend. If you need an another date please reach out as we will be working kids out all next week as well.
