Keystone would of had another D1 prospect pitcher as well. Whitmer was open enrolling there last year and had planned to play ball there all 4 years. Kid got very sick and decided to play at her school where she lives this year (which is the town next to Keystone). She hasn't played ball for about a year and a half. Heard she is working hard to get back where she was. She would of brought Keystone some wins for sure.

It's nice to have more than one arm that you can rely on to get wins although most schools only have one.

Paint Valley from the SVC ( with Zane Trace Unioto Adena etc ) has a freshman thrower who is a 14u Stingray kid so I was told -- dang good . For a freshman very very poised and had that " I've done this a million times approach" and mowed our HS team down like tall grass . talented young lady .

Warren it's all good. You can be proud of your players accomplishments. I am sure everyone knew you were not taking anything away from the rest of the team. You don't get a team that good based on 1 or 2 girls alone.

I know I just know how people can be on here lol

Keystone will be a state contender in DII. solid defense along with plenty of offense. Lefty pitcher has good stuff and is highly competitive. They also lost their freshman pitcher last year to another school. Last year she went 9-1 in the circle with her only loss being to North Canton Hoover. She throws hard with lots of movement. I also believe she is a DI recruit. I hear she is deciding between Oklahoma, Auburn.

man Wildcat12 your post has me totally confused.

So are you saying that Keystone lost a pitcher-this year- who would now be a sophomore- to another school and this pitcher that left Keystone (who is now a sophomore) has offers from Oklahoma and Auburn?

Someone else posted earlier that they lost a pitcher who decided to go back to her former school because of health reasons? I had someone PM me and tell me that kid is going back to Keystone next year to pitch if she is healthy (a diamond chix kid who is also a freshan?)

I had two others PM me saying that Keystone has another Freshman pitcher- a righty- that is very good too but can play other positions well and absolutely hits the **** out of the ball- if its the kid i'm thinking of, she played for Bill Arnold a few times and I remember seeing her out in Chicago.

what the hell do they have going on over there? whats with all the coming and going?

Getting back to Northwest Ohio which this thread was started for. Anyone have anything? Would love to hear about some of the Toledo area teams that normally rank high in NWO along with the Elmwood royals who I see are off to a good start. Not to be to much of a homer but I think my DD New Riegel team can make some noise this year and play with the areas best.

What school is she now playing for:confused:... Would love to see what an Auburn/Oklahoma recruit looks like!

Clay has two D1 commits Honnah Susor (Sr) outfielder Wright State and Haley Dominique (So) outfielder Ball State and the pitcher Brooke Gallaher (Sr) Lourdes College NAIA. They lost to Elyria in the regional finals last year and look to better this year.
