Does the 2015 Xeno version make the same broken glass sound as the 2013 and 2014 models ??

So is it safe to say the one I have heard the last few days that does not make sound has been altered ? I have heard there was a way to alter the washers inside the barrel. When you do that the sound does not happen any more.

Doesn't make the same sound broken glass sound as the other Xeno's. It sounds like a normal composite bat. I haven't been around to some fields yet this year to hear the difference. It is just awful odd that his bat doesn't sound the same as the others and all of a sudden someone has homerun power that they haven't had for the last 5 years.

Could be someone has been working hard? The xeno has a completely different sound when you catch it sweet, and swing with enough power to maximize the flex of the walls.

Could it have been an LXT? Both 2015's have that same large Louisville across them but the LXT makes a different dull thud sound.

5 years is a long time for a girl to grow and get stronger. Maybe she finally just 'GOT' it...

The type of ball being hit actually makes a different sound too. I have some junk practice balls my daughter uses for tee work and they don't make that crack sound. Its more of a thud. She hates using them. She wants to hear that crack.

Wouldn't hit any balls from jugs machine with them, worn out balls will not create the sound that's typical. If it sounds that way with new balls id say it may be damaged. These bats don't require breakin and are hot out of the wrapper,no 500 hits required.wouldn't know why anyone would roll one.Own 12' thru 14' xeno's all working well.

My dd has 2 of the 2014 models. She went and did some swinging with a new one when they first came out. To me the sound still sounds the same, but when you catch the ball on the sweet spot it does make more of a thud sound, but I think the 14 does the same thing. My dd just prefers the 14' over the 15'. If your dd is confident with the 15' model swing away. Just like my kid, she has it in her head that the 14' Xeno is the only bat on the planet right now, and it gives her the confidence she needs to go up to the plate and pound the ball. Needless to say if your swing is mechanically correct any bat will work..... just don't tell them that! In my opinion the Xeno is the best bat out right now.... but you know what they say about opinions.....

I noticed you said HIS bat, if this isn't a typo, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it was touched up. These guys find a way around everything to get an advantage.

My DD just bought the 2015 Xeno yesterday, it definitely has "The Sound" that is associated with the Xeno.
