2023 Dayton Metro Registration Information

10u-12u Location: Rowe Sports, Middletown, Ohio
14u-18u Location: Kettering Fields, Dayton Ohio

Dates: June 10-11th
Format: 4 GG, 3 PP games, followed by a blind draw single elimination bracket.

10u / 12u / 14u - 12 Teams each division
16u / 18u - 16 Teams in each division

The 2023 Metro will be an open tournament designed to play 4+ games in 2 days. Present your insurance and tournament roster for the weekend and go play.

At a minimum, teams will get in (4) games. We will play 3 pool play games, plus the single elimination bracket.

All pool games played with 1:20 drop dead time limit. Bracket games will be 1:20 finish inning. There will be no berths awarded. Pool play will be free substitution and roster batting at the coaches discretion. Single elimination bracket will be stricter rosters, 9 players, DP/Flex and an EP to allow for 10 hitters.

We will hold a blind draw on Saturday afternoon to seed a Sunday single elimination bracket for each age group.

Is this going to be run by the Hawks organization like it was last year in 2022? Six of the fourteen teams in the 14u division were Hawks teams last year. Will it be similar this year? Thank you
