Hi, my name's Bree Leonard and I'm from Ashtabula, Ohio. This coming season will be my first year of 23u ball.
My average throwing speed is about 57 mph, and I can top out around 62 mph. I have four pitches; a peel-drop fastball that I can spot well, a knuckle curve, a change up, and a riser. The curve is about ten mph off the peel, and the change up is about 30-35 mph. I am also experienced at first base, with about a six foot stretch off the bag. I can also play third, but I have less practice there as I've done mostly all of the pitching for travel ball and high school up until this last summer. My Senior batting average was around .377, and last summer was pretty close to that as well. I have good fielding fundamentals, except that I'm not very fast. The most recent time I have for base running was about 4.09 seconds from home to first. I also have knee issues, mainly my left one that requires me to wear a titanium brace whenever I'm playing, but I try to not let it interfere with my game.
I'd prefer for a team to be close to home so traveling to practice isn't far, but traveling distance for tournaments doesn't matter to me.
