2nd Annual "Battin' for Batten" Tournament hosted by Venom Fastpitch and will be held at Scioto Fields in Commercial Point, Ohio just minutes from Stringtown Rd and I 71. It will be held May 18-20 2012. We are proud to team up with the Batten Research Group to bring awareness to this dreaded disease. Have become friends with her dad over the last year playing in the 10u. Meet the young lady you are talking about this past weekend at the vipers tournament. Hopefully see each other alot more this year in the 12u

The Venom organization is a class act all around. No joke. Some of the friendliest coaches and parents around. Played in this tourny last year. They worked hard to get the fields ready after a ton of rain.

10U Ohio Lady LIberty went 6 - 0 in the tourney beating the Licking County Starz in the Championship.


12U Licking County Starz beat Ohio Lady Liberty to win the Championship.

Was a great time and weather was prefect. Saturday there was very little break between games and moving fields to where you need to drive wasn't too fun but better than having to drive across town . Liberty and Stars both beat us to knock us out and they both looked great. Especially since I heard Liberty's had very little team practice on 12u due to school ball. The Liberty pitcher (lefty)vs us in the semi final had very good ball control. I think the 12u stars went 6-0 as well. We finished up 3rd overall. Buckeye Heat 00.
