3 days of softball and not a single TD has posted any results for the 12u or 14u

My questions is WHY? I'm sorry (TD's) but some of us can't make it to the Diamonds every week-end. But we still like seeing some Scores and Results.

They don't even have to pay for anything, Set up a Twitter Account under your events name and feed the results to the Forum. We did a 129 Team tournament and posted all the results at the top of ever hour. We posted on this web site, twitter and on the Tournaments web site as well. At the End of ever day we posted the daily standings and on Sunday night by 9:00 we had most of the results posted. And by Monday we had all the Brackets and Results posted inside this section of TheSoftballZone and on the tournament web site itself.

I'm understand allot of sanction body now have that kind of technology on their web sites, and allot of the (TD's) don't want the hassle of posting results more then once. But I really think this site OFC/TSZ at TheSoftballZone deserves that. Everything here is free, you can promote your tournament(s) all year long on this site. Why stop short by not posting your tournaments results and standing.

Come on (TD's), were in this together.

Right over here!
TONS of rain.. Many truneys busy just remaking schedules and not to mention the logistics with which field to play on.. At least 4 turneys in the tri-state area were impacted. I notice Monday seems to be the day to post. Once you get a chance to reflect.. The apps IE turney machine are nice, but there is a cost. Yes you can update from a smartphone just think once the ease of use meets functionality it will become easier. When things run smooth score get posted, when there is weather or some other event its choppy.

Hey, I know a guy.......I remember the first tournament in Ohio to do live (as close as it could be) updates. We used a dial-up connection. It took 15 minutes to upload each round of results.

The next year, we went high-tech and hired an outstanding company that fully understands the expectations of our audience and is out at the tournament to help if any glitches pop-up.

Brian, thanks for everything you do to help our tournament. (Brian is Hilliarddad3's son)

My first experience at the Lasers tournament. They had a ton of rain and they all worked very hard. No doubt about it. The schedule looked like it was done on graph paper. It looked like an old bowling schedule. Team A-2 plays A-5 on lane 22..... Why not just use a computer or one of the slick online tools that Al Gore probably invented?
