no one was bashing players.

Are you for real???? have you read the post ... the only reason they hit 25 homeruns was because of a short porch? And the ASA standards for homerun fences is 185 to 210 Louisville fences are 190 to 200 Not because of how good this teams was this year? And beating Hoover early meant nothing??? ask the players if it meant nothing!!! You parents that cant stand when someone does good or promotes there own team on the internet you cant stand. This is not meant to beat up anyone just to bring to light what these young ladies work so hard for is to compete and play in college.... Not to be put down or undermind any accomplishments that they as young atheletes have worked so hard for..... so check your hater attitudes at login......;&

please , get off your high horse . posters pointed out the truth, that the timing of this post is 2 months late. that the fences are apparently somewhat smaller than most, therefore inflating the HR total, and properly pointed out breaking a record by 1 dinger is not smashing a record. I have no problem with this young guy giving some props to this HS team. Appears they had a great season. But the HS season has been over for nearly 2 months. It's ok to toot your own some, it's actually part of the recruiting game , but this post threads says "look at us " just a tad too much IMO. As far as the "you parent" comment , it shows how far off base you are , I'm nearly 4 hours away and don't know a fed league team from a whatever league team nor could i name a kid on the l-ville team.

speaking of hard working athelets , have you noticed one other single person on OFC bragging up HS stats or records on their hard working athelets ? Not hatin ' just statin' ....... facts that is.

just for schmidts and giggles our HS team outscored their conference foes around 120 some to less than 20 . Way to go Portsmouth Notre Dame ! MD

"Any and/or all the things that you have done on the softball field this season are virtually worthless ... because any of the regular season success you may have had can be directly attributed to your coach setting up a schedule full of cupcakes and patsies just so you could impress ignorant voters in silly polls ... your record is inflated and your team was over rated ... and the fact you have home field fences well within the ASA guidelines (but not the farthest) means your home run total is very inflated and thus not worth any mention that the total was more than any other published DI team in state history - that and your conference happens to be subpar, substandard, and has nothing but lousy pitching ... and you got bounced early in the tournament, and we dont give a hoot in what district - just the fact you got bounced early validates every we have said"

"Naaahhhhhh, thats not bashing the kids - especially because not one was even named! ... seeeee, we didnt bash any of the girls!!!"

"And how dare someone post anything related to the latest HS season within the OFC Ohio High School forum, this forum should only be used for posting about what is going on at this moment in Ohio HS ball - posting anything related to the 2011 season is despicable and shall be considered blatant cheerleading"

Folks, I couldnt have made this stuff up if I tried ... thank you all who contributed for the material.

I think the "sure Louisville hit a lot of home runs - anyone would on a field that little" crowd could be quieted a little of someone from Louisville would provide a breakdown of home and away home run totals. For instance, Clear Fork hits a lot of home runs and they play on a short field, but they hit them regardless of whether they are playing home or away. Can the same be said of Louisville?

Right right ... "could be quieted a little" ... just like the "they intentionally scheduled a weak lineup of cupcakes only to impress poll voters" crowd have owned their comments??? ... gotcha.

I read it a couple of times but still must have missed it - how many were hit at home and how many were hit away?

12 homeruns away and 13 at home I guess its not the short fence......so haters keep hating the L trains coming...

The question is did they report it? Anthony Wayne hit 30+ in a D1 league and their AD apparently didn't report it lol...so statewide its not a record.

As if to imply it actually makes any difference to you and your predetermined angle :lmao:

... it has been made perfectly clear here that questions are for opportunities to tear down only.
