3 Sport Athlete

This was posted in the Cincinnati paper. She has played 3 sports throughout highschool.
I know that has been a big topic with parents on this site. Playing other sports verses concentrating on one sport.

This is a great accomplishment for my daughter and very proud of her for doing it.

She is currently playing ball for the Bower / Duncan 18u hawks college exposure team and looking to play at the next level.

I thought I would share.

Fantastic, Not only is she a great kid but talented as all get out in Athletics and Academics to boot, Its a privilege to coach such fine young ladies as her....... I know her parents are proud and I can see her dad strutting his stuff. LOL Congrats Casey you deserve all the recognition you get ......... Keep up the great work

Athletics are just the tip of the iceberg of Casey's accomplishments. She is also involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Student Council, Communiserve, Parkers variety show, and the recently established Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity team. To top it all off, Casey currently holds a grade point average of 4.16 - this is quite an accomplishment! congrats and may God bless you!

I was a little concerned at first when she started playing for Tim and Chris however Tim shaved more often and Chris, Oh well sometimes all you can do is try! :lmao:

Casey is truly a pleasure to work with and understands how to manage her time. Playing three sports and being a Christian with a 4.16 GPA says a lot about her parents also providing the proper environment for her to grow in today's fast pace world.

When we were at try outs this year Tim and Chris thought she must be adopted and it could not be Gerry's kid!

Gerry you and the wife should be proud of all three of your kids!

He is the little puppy that growls like he is a pit bull and snuggles up on your lap at night and your wife say's we got to keep him and you look at the kids and say you all are going to have to take care of him...they all look at each other and in unison, "I am not cleaning up his poop!"

Congrats to Casey, and also her mother and father for the fine job they have done in raising her. This to me is what a role model is! I hope I have the opportunity this summer to have my daughters meet this young lady!

Great kid, family and Friend. Got use to coming to Gerry's defense on Hi. I printed out this article and took it to our high school. Just to prove to coaches you can play more than one sport and be successful.

Gerry congratulations on Casey's accomplishments in the classroom, community and on the field. You & Mom should be PROUD of the fine job you have done with Casey. I have had the pleasure of being around Casey on the field & she leads by example - a hard worker who is focused. Casey will be successful in whatever she decides to do in life.
