3rd Annual Central Ohio Ice Fall Chiller ASA ENQ

The Central Ohio Ice Organization is proud to announce that we will be holding the Third Annual "Fall Chiller" ASA Eastern National Qualifier on October 11[SUP]th[/SUP] -12th, 2014 at Berliner Sports Park in Columbus.

SCHEDULES WERE EMAILED ON 10/2/14. Please email me at mstamos@devry.edu if you did not receive yours.

10U one day only Saturday Oct 11th.
12U one day only Sunday Oct. 12th.
Fee Reduced to $395 for these age groups only

This tournament will have fences on every field and 2 umpires every game.

Please ask any coach who has played in it the last two years how their experience has been.

Where: Berliner Sports Park, Columbus

Groups: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U

Format: 4 GG, 3 pool play games with single elimination; weather permitting

Cost: $435; DEADLINE Friday September 26th make checks payable to "CENTRAL OHIO ICE"

Deadline is set to ensure enough time to do preorder t-shirts and get schedules out in a timely manner.

Two 2014 ASA Eastern National berths will be awarded per age group.

Been to this tourney back to back years, love it. On my list again, well run, great competition, and for us not in Columbus a great team bonding tourney. I recommend it!

Thanks Uber for the kind words and we hope your team can make it back this year to the Chiller. Last year we had an excellent list of teams and we expect the same at all age groups this year. I will start a team list sometime in August after tryouts. Good luck to everyone who is finishing their season locally or at nationals.

I can tell you that having lights and artificial turf infields definitely helps if there is any rain. Also, our TD Mike is very good at scheduling early games on Saturday for the older girls that may have conflicts in the evening and scheduling younger groups later. So don't let other sports schedules or school conflicts be a deterrent, Mike is very accommodating and it has worked great the past couple of years. Definitely would like to see a big 10u field this year.

I will have team list available by Mid August. Most teams are holding tryouts and have to determine player availability once their team is picked before choosing tourneys. I will work with older teams (16U and 18U) around homecoming and younger with volleyball tournaments as best I can this weekend.

My Ohio Hawks team has played in this tourney the last two years. Both years has been at the 18U level. Central Ohio Ice does an excellent job running the tourney. I would recommend this tourney if your looking for a good fall tournament..
