I don't have any official results, but as usual, these guys worked small miracles with wet fields. I know we got all 3 pool games in & considering this past week, I'm pleased with that in itself. ('Course we were in that small hurricane that blew through Massilon last weekend. Mother Nature didn't help those tournament folks out at all)

Valley Extreme Blue won beating the Mad dogs 4-1. Mad Dog girls were very good as well as the Valley Extreme team being very good and well coached. Only thing I don't understand from a parents point of view is how the mad dog parents let there kids play for those 2 guys also didn't care for a couple of comments being said from mad dogs parents to the extreme pitcher, hope your kid isn't talked to like that. They were down right mean a vicious to those girls. My daughter doesn't play for either team. Our girls had fun but didn't do very well. Girl coaches for mad dogs were much better didn't see them there till later. I'm sure they wouldn't have done that or allowed it. Congrats to both for making it to the championship.

If you are talking about the 14u game I watched that game also. Didn't hear the parent. When you say that you cannot believe the parents would let those girls play for those 2 guys from where I was those coaches were praising those girls, and yes he did get on them when they made a mistake. But the praising he gave those girls out weighed any of his yelling about mistakes.

that was the 14-U level, Very good hard played game, both teams gave 100%, Also saw and heard the comments from the 3 along the fence, We all understand if it is a close play and heat of the moment but this was play after play there was no reason to heckel a 14 year old girl, come on guys remember its for our kids let them play.

Why would a 30-40 year old male yell at a 14 year old pitcher? He sure was quiet when there girls stuck out, or didnt make the plays. With a Akron Races Player as a first base coach you would expect the Maddogs to have a little more respect especially for a pitcher who was beating you.

Unfortunately some parents try to live their lives through their children and ruin the games and fun for the kids. It definately seems like the parents are the ones with the poor sportsmanship, not the kids. Good job to both 14u teams that made it to the championship games. Hopefully you all have positive attitudes and respect for eachother :(
