8 game guarantee 12 u & 16u tourney in Ohio

We still have a few spots left in each Division. ?12u has (5) and 16u has (3). The dates are June 16 - 18, 2006.

This is an A.S.A. sanctioned tournament located in Sparta, Ohio. It will be played at the Highland Community Park/Belcher Park. It is near the intersection of St. Rt. 229 and St. Rt. 314 just down the road from Sparta Highland High School in Morrow County.

This tournament will be an 8 game guarantee (weather permitting).

We will be using two umpires per game.

There will be a 1 hour and 20 minute time limit used during the pool play and single elimination parts of the tournament.

The format for this tournament will be pool play for seeding. Then there will be an elimination round. The final four teams left will play for 1st through 4th place!

We will be giving out awards for four places (team and individual).

This tournament is being held at the Highland Community Park/Belcher Park. It has four fields with bleachers. It has a nice scenic lake and you are allowed to fish, so bring your poles. Plenty of parking! No admission fees! Even restrooms! Can?t bring your grill into the playing field area, but anywhere else is ok.

Unfortunately, this is the same weekend as the USSSA North State Tournament in Toledo. This sounds like a really nice place to play with the fishing and all. Is this near Ashland ? Maybe next year we can play there. Good-Luck to everyone.

If you get on I-71south out of Ashland, I believe it would take about 45 minutes. Thats going down I-71, getting off at the SR 95 exit and going east, then turning south on SR 314 for roughly 8-10 miles.
