All A3 vrs ? Games have been cancel due to Muskie Chix pulling out of tournament today 07.01.10

Congrats to PC Sting Orange 2nd place in the 14u division.....We went 4-1-2 for the weekend and played some fantastic softball......The girls are getting better every weekend, and having FUN!!! Thanks to all the parents who made the trip and cheered the girls on!

I was checking to see how the catcher for Athens was doing.....She was hit on the elbow by a swinging bat! I hope she is ok...She is a tough tough girl!

My catcher (Athens girl) has had several Xrays in the last 2 days and is now currently having a CT Scan right now. This was just because they Xrays weren't clear enough. Mom said Dr. seemed positive though. She is a tough kid and I won't be surprised she won't be back it next week!

I hope everything goes well.......She is a very good catcher. BTW the same girl who hit her with the bat is out for the rest of the year.....She got hit on the hand with a fastball while batting and fractured her thumb....She is in a cast now.......

Really hate to hear about the other player. I talked to her after our incident and she was so upset. Told her not to worry about it, things like this happen in softball all the time, its par for the course. Wasn't her fault and she definitely didn't mean for it to happen.

We also had a girl get hit on the hands with a pitch, that kid has been a ball magnet all season. She has had a sprained knee twice, sprained ankle twice, took a pitch to the knee cap (good knee) weekend before last, I have know idea if she will be back this season! Almost afraid to put on the field!

Anyway, just got word that my catcher doesn't have any broken bones and will probably be released to play next week.

I'm really glad to hear that she will be making a come back .I was the plate umpire when the accident happened . She was doing a great job catching and she has a great sense of humor I hope she gets well soon .
