Hey LadyCougars, MG bus and fans arrived at your field around 4:15 pm, 52 degrees and field looking fine, but no Westlanders around. Guess your folks thought it was too cold, canceled around 2 pm and "left a message at the school". We're on Spring Break, so that didn't work. We did enjoy the scenic 270 drive though.

It started out cold yesterday then the temp dropped and the girls froze. They probably didn't want to chance a second day in a row of numb fingers. Sorry you didn't get the message.

PurpleJack - the weather forecaset looks ok for tomorrow's matchup of WM v MG. The bleachers weren't out yet today, so I'd bring seats.

Northmor got in a nice short game scrimmage inside Lexingtons new fieldhouse. ?What a very nice facility to play and practice in, I'm extremely jealous!!! ?Coach Hamman and his team were very accomodating, and it felt good to get some reps in against some live pitching. ?Good Luck to the Lady Minuteman this year.

Northmor travels to Bucyrus on Wednesday.

I made that call not to play and I'll stand by it! I also made calls so everyone knew that call was made!!
If I was going one hour away from home at this time of the year, I would call ahead before I got on the bus!!!!

Grove City and Teays Valley got their scrimmage in. Was freezing. But, it was nice to get some outside time and see another pitcher. GC plays Pick. North today.

Grove City hit the ball real well, Galloway, Zueffle and Yoho especially, Myers pitched strong, Coleman picked a runner off of first. Teays Valley has a ton of lefties, The score was 4 to 3 in favor of GC. Both teams played alot of players and it was freezing and rainy all game. I think teays valley played whitehall the night before and did real well I heard.

Warriors21, Your DD looked super out there today! Hard to believe she is only a freshman. Thanks for the hospitality and if you need any help with real estate in Mount Gilead, please let me know :D Good luck with your season!!

Thanks PurpleJack! She had a great time out there today once she got over being nervous. Your girl is one heck of a tough pitcher. She was still going strong at the end. Good luck this spring & maybe we'll run into y'all this summer. I'll let you know if we ever decide to go north. ;)

No make up set at this point. :( I was really looking forward to it. There is always next year.

Yea, maybe next year..
Heard both schools fields were just not usable...

Pr maybe we see each other right before/during states in a Scrimmage.

Fostoria played nine innings or until the orb in the sky faded with Lakota. Young ladies were thrilled to be outside!

Rossford and Archbold were outside enjoying the weather finally. A lot of cobwebs needed to be brushed off. When will the sun stay out?!?!
