Anybody played ISA Tournaments (TN)?

We played there last year in the Colonial Motel Classic in mid-May. It was a good experience, and we are going back at the end of this month for the Joe Oliver Memorial tournament. The fields are very nice, and the tournament was very well run.

Traffic around the area can be a pain, so allow a little extra time getting around. There is also plenty to do in the area, and some people like to go a day early, or stay a day after, to do some of the tourist attractions. I would recommend going.

We ( our family ) has played there 3 times in the past and found that you have a mix of competition about like the better tournaments around here. They have dominant teams down there just the same. Bad thing is to travel all that way and end up facing a team from Cincy since it is a popular place.

As Merlion, mentioned we were there last summer & we aslo went there (Crossville) this Fall for the ISA Fall State Champioship. As Greg mentioned, it can be hit or miss on the competition but there are always at least a few (if not more) good teams there. In the Fall, all the teams were good to strong but that may have been because of tourney title. It is also hard to beat the $200 entry fee as well. Just my thoughts.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Now I just need to get everyone else to buy in. You think the idea of going to Dollywood would help.....:)

We have been down to the ISA tournaments with our oldest daughter and in the last few years with our youngest and it is a nice facility to play in. Like the above posts, there is some good competition there and can't beat the price for the number of games. Weather can be hit and miss, one day 80 degrees and then the next 50 and rain. Still a good time and worth the trip.
