Hi Ricky

I've had to use my other browsers to log on here. My AOL won't work as well and I've tried everything. I usually can figure out any computer issue but not this one. Sometimes an "invalid Certificate" error pops on the AOL but I can usually bypass that. Other times, it's "page not found".

Thanks for the feedback. Can I ask you a question? Do you have the same problems with AOL when you go to other web sites. Were not sure if the problems with AOL only or if its some type of time out issues.

I can tell you that its not this site that has the issue. It is AOL. They have had a issue with accessing Vbulletin forums for many years. The issue I believe is due to the fact that AOL uses proxy servers. So groups of people share the same IP. And in most forums your login is IP based. So multiple people could potentially have the same IP address which is a conflict and the web server thinks its spam. Also AOL is famous for not updating its browser security certificates and AOL bases its browser off of Internet Explorer. The browser could also be the culprit that is doing the blocking. One way to see if its the actual AOL browser is if the site does not work. Close the browser, delete the browser "cookies" and then retry this site again.

Here is a example of a post from a website mentioning the same issue. As you can see its dated 2005.

AOL Blocking VBulletin & Others

Fri 2nd Dec '05, 10:14am

Unfortunately I have discovered that AOL has now been blocking every forum signup and site signup and being held as unsolicited spam.

Have any AOL users had any luck using other browsers like Opera, Firefox or Google Chrome?
